23rd Annual Report of Republic in Iran

The Islamic "Information (Intelligence) Minister" Hojatoleslam Ali Yunesi announced the existence of "parallel" intelligence and security organizations in the country.
Sheikh Khaled ben Saghar al Qasemi, the Crown Prince of Ra's al Kheymeh Emirate claims sovereignty over the three Persian islands located strategically at the entrance of the Persian Gulf.
Iran's Imperial Navy liberated the islands in 1971 following the withdrawal of British forces.
The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom says Iran denies freedom of religion to minority religious groups that are not officially recognized by the state. The Islamic regime has engaged in prolonged detentions and executions based primarily or entirely upon the religion of the victims. The commission said members of the Iranian Baha'i community suffer the worst persecution at the hands of the Islamic state.
